Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING SET This set it beautiful. I mean wow. The designers did an amazing job on this set. The color scheme is great. The structure and detail put into this set is amazing. And it overall is a great set. The mini figure selection was great giving nearly every main character from the new show (Part 1 at least) only missing nya (Zane was only in the show for an episode). I do deal as there could have been one more villain in the set but other than that it’s a phenomenal set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing for display and play The set not only looks great but also functions well as a playable ship . My younger brother fell in love with this set , he pratically plays with it everyday! The only downside is that the fins on the back move around quite a lot causing them to break while being used ( this happens rarely, I might have also built it wrong).Overall this set is amazing and I would recommend it to all fans of the ninjago series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Destiny's Bounty: Race Against Time This set looks stunning for display, and the interior is really good for play. I love the fact that an actual dragon can fit into the ship, again, good for play. However there are some flaws. Figures physically can't walk from one side of the ship to the other, limiting play ability. And when you take the dragon out, there's a huge gap in the hull of the ship, maybe the designers could've put a few plates at the bottom of the hull so it didn't look as empty, you could've also stored figures down there. And the minifigure selection is REALLY poor. I believe the designers should've included all 6 original ninja, a new Master Wu figure compared to the overused Core minifig, and 2 Imperium Guard minifigs. Overall, I recommend this set, even with it's minor flaws.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most disappointing build ever The structural design of this build is very poor. It is so flimsy and hollow in many places making the overall formation weak. The technic elements do not seem to adhere properly to the regular Lego bricks. There are very few strong connection points and a very weak narrow center beam. Anytime you so much as touch it, it just falls apart. The worst section is where the double engines are on the back - the entire red wall and spinning sections just fall right off. After it was finally assembled and fixed numerous times, 2 people tried to carefully move it to our Ninjago display shelf (because in no way could you ever play with this one) and again it collapsed in several places. We reassembled it yet again, while sitting on the shelf. This has zero playability, unlike the Hydro Bounty build which can easily withstand being played with. The only positive part in this build was the elemental dragon and baby Riyu. Overall this is the most disappointing build he's ever done. My son saved up his birthday money to buy this on a recent trip to Legoland NY, he was so excited to walk out of the big shop with this prized build, yet was left fully disappointed upon its completion. I do not recommend this build and the designers need to rethink the structural integrity of future designs on this ship.
