Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome and absolutely amazing set! What can I say? First of all Lego could you please stop randomly delivering boxes to my front door? I knew it was going to be an incredible building experience from the very beginning! It took me roughly 6-7 hours in total to complete as I wasn't rushing; just taking my time enjoying the build; especially with all the intricate pieces and thoughtful detail which really made this set. I missed out on the larger creater set of the Taj Mahal but managed to get my hand on one recently which I'm happy about! I really love anything to do with architectural/engineering marvals of the world! Keep up the good work Lego! Looking forward to the typewriter soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Labour of love [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many years had passed since Lego was at the top of my letter to Father Christmas. Would this modern set aimed at adults provide the same sense of anticipation and excitement? Absolutely! The smart instruction manual wouldn't look out of place on a coffee table and led my son and I through the build step by step. A tool is even included to separate blocks these days. The model is one foot square so doesn't take up too much space and construction was good fun with various Lego styles used to form the domes and towers. The finished model has a removable roof to access the detailed inside. All in all, great fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This set is beautiful! This set is amazing! I don’t know if this part is based on the real Taj Mahal, but I enjoyed the bright orange, blue and green interior pieces. They kept the build from getting monotonous in some ways. The base of this set is much sturdier than any of my other architecture sets. The time it took wasn’t too bad for the piece count. Each of the ten bags probably took me 30-45 minutes, and I’m not very quick. You would think that any and all legos are safe for your average thirteen-or-so year old, but I can see where Lego was coming from with the age rating. There are lots of small, pointed pieces. I scraped myself a time or two, but nothing that broke skin. I wouldn’t have cared if I had broken skin though, because it would have been worth it! A really, really lovely set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Architecture Set I've Built The Taj-Mahal by far has been my favorite Architect build to date. The level of detail and thought put into the smaller scale model was phenomenal. I took my time building only doing a bag a day during the week and 2 bags on the weekend. The repetitive building was not bad at all. With each repetitive section you got to see the design and details come together to make an absolutely awesome display piece.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive - Unnecessary details I have nearly all Lego Architecture sets and I must say - this is one of my least favourite. It is not only a pretty tedious build with the hundreds of tile pieces that are very hard to get straight on top of the repetitiveness in the steps. It seems to have some detailed parts that are completely hidden and seem unnecessary - it feels like it is just jacking up the pieces and the price. I would much have rather it been small and include the courtyard of the Taj Mahal, much like the Trafalgar Square build. Overall it is a nice piece visually, but I do not think it is worth the price compared to the other sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Building Wonders: My LEGO Taj Mahal Experience I absolutely loved building the LEGO Taj Mahal! Receiving it as a Christmas gift was a delight, and it’s only fueled my growing obsession with LEGO. The construction was an engaging challenge, taking just under 6 hours to complete. While some sections of the build were a bit repetitive, the final product was so stunning that it more than made up for any monotony. The sense of fulfillment I felt looking at the intricate details of the completed model was immense. Now, I’m eagerly planning my next project. I’m torn between the White House and Statue of Liberty for their iconic designs, the Titanic for its historical significance, the Grand Piano for its unique appeal, and the Eiffel Tower for its architectural grandeur. Each one promises more building fun and a chance to expand my LEGO landscape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing intricate set [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this Taj Mahal architecture set is so beautifully intricate and interesting! The level of detail surprised me and my partner and kept us interested throughout the build. It took us quite a while to build it, a couple of 2 or 3 hours sessions I think, but we were taking it slow, enjoying the set. It was quite fiddly at some points but it paid off. Also I love the small size of this set, it's so cute and perfect to display on a shelf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly Good (mistake or Easter egg on the box!) First of all, I bought this because the price is very low for the amount of pieces. The reason I say “mostly good” is because there are a lot of repeated steps which was pretty annoying. Otherwise I really enjoyed building this. The picture on the box has something a little strange to me. I doubt this was done on purpose, but if anybody happens to know this was intentional and if so, why?, I’d love to know. So basically the white pieces lining the bottom (I circled them in the picture) have the LEGO logo on one side and a random dot on the other side. The pieces are placed vertically in a way that the logo is always at the top. However, one of the pieces on the corner has the logo at the bottom with the dot on top. I found that really interesting.
