Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oh Dear.... Everyone remembers that grey coloured Eiffel Tower from their vistis to Paris don't they? No? Oh good, so it's not just me then! Seriously, the build design was really good but Lego just can't get the basic colours right. The Eiffel Tower is not grey. The Arc de Triomphe isn't white either. An intermediate build which didn't take too long but I was a bit disappointed to find two key bits missing from the kit - unusual for Lego. Fortunately I had some spares - just as well really. This isn't one of the best of the Architecture kits for enjoyment considering the price - a shame because the actual build technique is interesting - it lets itself down....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Starting to wonder..... ......why? These city skylines were interesting.....at first. Nothing much to say about this one. If you’ve built one in this series, you’ vet built them all. Not bad, just ‘ho-hum’. Quality of Lego justifies the price. I’m now at the point where I wish this ’theme within a theme’ would move out on its own and we’d get more and larger stand alone architecture sets. These sets would be best moved out of the architecture series and sold as souviners in the cities they represent. I have no problem with ‘repetitiveness’ when building a large structure like the Taj Mahal. But, I do have a problem with repetitiveness when comparing set to set to set......like these city skyline sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paris - City of the Light Paris is the City of Light and the City of Romance. This architecture set captured well in the new Paris skyline by showing the iconic Eiffel Tower and beautiful low-rise architectural buildings. My first impression of the new Skyline set was positive. I was immediately impressed with this smaller re-interpretation of the Eiffel Tower, which remains faithful to the landmark's gracefully curving form despite its small size as well as other nice buildings that line this skyline. This set also gave me a lot of experience in playing with so many details.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The build is good. Despite the overall quality of the build, the one thing that I thought to be inaccurate about this set is that the the Arc de Triomphe should be by the Louvre, not on the other side of Paris. The set is otherwise very good,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the Architecture Sets [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few of the Lego architecture pieces, but they have been bought for me as gifts of memorable places my husband and I have visited. They make great little additions and reminders in addition to other memories. This particular set though it quite well done. The eiffel tower itself is well-designed and coupled with the other buildings, I'm a fan. Lego, keep pushing to develop these city landscapes and making them look good, I think you really succeeded on this one.
