The disgraceful demise of the City theme
This set is exemplary for the demise of the City theme, due to the already bad and lazy design made even worse by the accountancy department that seemingly commanded to spare on parts. As a result, the truck might be okay (although it makes no sense to not even include doors or a proper seat for the driver!), but the trailer is a real disgrace: an average 8-year-old could have done a better job. It looks cheap, it cannot be moved properly (due to the rigid axles) and screams "parts rationalisation!". As for the helicopter, it looks unfinished, with even the body missing a lots of parts - and the inside is just an unispired emptiness.
If Lego continues to abuse its fans over the City theme with more uninspired sets (that are overpriced for their sloppiness), it will lose even the last of its fans. As for me, sadly I cannot recommend hardly any of the current City sets for my or friends' kids.
Lego, in the past you showed us that you can do an amazing job. Please quit screwing up the brand and get back to your old solid self!

Love the features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lego City Rescue Helicopter Transport set is awesome. The set includes the helicopter, truck and 2 mini figures. The set is 215 pieces total so easier for the younger aged children to build with minimal assistance. The colors are vibrant and the details are incredible. The character accessories are also very detailed. Love that the vehicles connect and increase imaginative play. Putting together was fun and created a great bonding experience. This is a great addition to the Lego CITY collection.

Fun Set with a Few Play Issues
This set has fun play potential with a good sized medical transport helicopter in a bright new color with a tractor trailer truck rig. The build is simple enough for younger children appropriate for the 5+ age suggestion. The minifigures look great as well.
I do have a few issues that drop the value of this set for me. First, a patient minifigure would add a lot of play value. I suppose the chopper could transport the truck driver, however he seems find without injury. Second, the 4-wheeled truck trailer is difficult to turn and backup. It isn’t realistic either. Two tandem wheels matching the tractor tires in back would be much better for play. Third is my major criticism. The helicopter rotor blade isn’t secured by a chain or stop meaning as you drive through your LEGO city streets the rotor will swing and smack into everything on either side. The previous helicopter transport had a nifty chain to secure the rotor blade and was an overall better set. These issues result in just an average rating for me and would have bothered me as a kid.

Creative!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children had a great time putting this set together. The directions were easy to follow with great pictures and a perfect skill level - not too easy, not too difficult. Not only does this help with building skills, it is jun to play with too!

Perfect for Lego lovers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is rarely able to complete a set of Lego on his own, sometimes they can be a bit complicated for him to do independently. This set was perfect for him. He did this one all on his own and was so excited that he didn’t need any assistance, he’s 8 years old. He really enjoyed putting this together and it kept him off electronics for the evening so it was a win/win! He loves his Lego sets.

So much fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rescue Helicopter Transport was a bit more challenging Lego set that my son (7) and I have attempted. He absolutely loved it though! The instructions were easy to read and the pieces were kept separate enough to know which ones went where. The real challenge was when he took it apart and tried again with all the pieces in one big pile. This will keep them busy for hours!! Great toy!

Brought back the child in me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked these Lego's up for my son. I was really dreading putting them together for him, but I tell you what, I've become a Lego believer. The instruction guides are super easy to follow, the pieces are all well separated, and putting these together was almost like meditating. Don't go with a cheaper option, Lego's provide a stellar experience for the young and old. I've already bought several more sets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child enjoying this Lego Helicopter put together. He had so much fun trying to build something. He finally made the helicopter on the picture of the box. We all enjoyed helping him. There is a lot of pieces and many things you can put together. Recommend you go out and buy one for your child.
