Relaxing build that yields fun toys
I purchased this from Target, partly so I could complete the VIP “task list”, and partly because I was bored and wanted a new set immediately. Normally I purchase all my sets from LEGO.COM, POINTS! Points! Points!
About the item.
All of the dog models are incredibly cute. The only disappointment for me is the dachshund, but that is because I have a pet Dachshund and love dachshunds.
I chose to use to my sets pieces to build the three dogs included with the instructions and will attempt to use my free parts inventory to create the other 4, yes, even the Dachshund.
What I like most is the playability of these models. Anything that could fall off is easy to repair, and they make great toys for your or visiting children.

Funny Adorable Dogs
I purchased this set for my, not quite 7 year old grandson. He was so excited to receive it as it was one of the sets he had been wanting. The build level was perfect for him. He had some help from mom when he couldn't locate a piece, but other than that it was a solo build. It took him a little over an hour to build the 3 main dogs. He loves playing with them and showing them to everyone who comes over. He will eventually build the other dogs but right now he is having fun playing with these 3. He even lets his 4 year old sister play with them as well. Together they take them to the "dog park" so all the dogs can play together, bring them home to feed and groom them.
This was definitely a good choice for him.

My kids love these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were excited to open these and start building. I think their favorite part of this adorable dog Lego set is the fact that they could build different types of dogs. I'm glad that they play with this set every day and it gives them something to do but also lets them work on their imaginative play and it's a Lego set of something that they like.

If you love dogs, this is the set for you
This little set was so much fun to build, I especially loved that you had a choice of which dogs to build so if you had similar dogs you could match them in Lego. The build was easy, and didn't take long, but that in no way took the enjoyably. I loved all the accessories you had to build for the dogs, especially the dog lead, which I thought was ingenious. All in all its a great set, and if I had dogs I could see myself buying a few of these so I could build each dog that is in this set.

Tons of fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has recently started getting into Legos, much to my chagrin and much to her father's delight. I don't mind them but they can be messy. Either way, this set has kept them busy for countless hours, changing the dogs around. They are cute, I must admit. The only problem is that my daughter tries to play with them like figurines that don't fall apart so I have to remind her to be gentle.

This set has many missing pieces.
Bought this set because my husband and I both love dogs and have had pets for many years including 2 Schnauzers. Tried to make the Schnauzer & the small brown dog, which are both in the manual together, but could not complete because of missing pieces . Have had many sets of Legos in the past and all the pieces were there.
It was upsetting and we returned the set to Kohls where it was purchased.
