Batmobile Tumbler
Parts were organized well and assembly was straightforward and enjoyable, except that near the end, several subassemblies attach to the main body in a fragile manner. When trying to hold the project to put a new subassembly on, several times a previously attached part or subassembly would detach. Much time was spent figuring out where to attach it and often times had to remove parts to put the detached piece back on. One subassembly is attached by a single button and came off multiple times. One must be very careful when handling the model as pieces easily get disturbed. It is a poor design to have so many appendages loosely attached.

Wow just wow, what a stunning build.. I really enjoyed this one, I missed out on the Batman 89 batmobile so I had to have this and The Batman edition too. As a huge fan of batman I credit Lego for the detail and how much work they’ve put into this, I’ve studied the tumbler in it’s real form and clearly Lego has too. Well done and thank you for creating this for us.. your batman Lego is fantastic and I can’t wait to see what’s next… hopefully you’ll re-release the 89 batmobile one day for me to get to complete in the mean time I’ll get the Batwing 😁….🦇🦇

Fragile outer shell
This set seems to be designed for display only (I guess hence the stand). The chassis was super sturdy, but the shell pieces are not held together well. For example, some pieces are attached together by a single stud or clip. I have to be really careful when picking it up as some shell pieces may get dislodged.
Also the build is very symmetric. It’s easier to just build both side simultaneously to save effort. There is few “LEGO delight” compared to other sets. All in all, this is not my favorite build but the finished product looks convincing on its stand.

The Lego 2021 Batman Tumbler
I didn't get the 2014 version of this so it had to be a must have purchase this time around.
The build was straight forward as long as you take a little time to look at the steps carefully due to the strange angles of the model.
It took around 9 hours to build and it looks fantastic and comes the a lego display stand that you build that rotates the car.
This is mainly a display item rather than a play set. But as a adult builder that is what I look for in Lego sets
Very happy with this model.

Fun to build! Great to display! A+++
This set is definitely a cool one, but I would not mark it as one of the best.
It is very detailed on the interior and the exterior. The skeleton is very well built and gives it a sturdy core. There is some repetition, but that’s just because it’s a symmetrical build. The biggest flaw in this set is that a lot of the add-on details, after you put on the tires, are not very solidly put on. I carried it from my kitchen table to where I displayed it and a couple of add-ons fell off. The rotating stand is so cool just like on the Batmobile. I wish they would have included a weapon for Batman and Joker.
Overall, I still enjoyed building this set. I recommend it for any Batman fan. This set definitely lives up to its age recommendation.

2021 Tumbler
This is a moderate improvement over the 2014 Tumbler, and it is more accurate with some great printed pieces. It is technically more of a re-release than anything else, and I appreciate that, since I didn't buy the original. This Tumbler has more exposed studs when compared to the previous version. But I believe studs protect the pieces from getting scratched, the trade off is that it is more difficult to keep dust off the model and it doesn’t look sleek like the 1989 Batmobile.
Unfortunately the lack of a third figure is very disappointing. They could have included Harvey Dent, Rachel Dawes or James Gordon. I understand that the 2014 only had two figures, so maybe that is the reason, but the stand included is meant to accommodate 3 figures.
Overall the shape is very accurate but the price is a little higher than I would have expected. Nevertheless, If you like the The Dark Knight Trilogy this Tumbler is a must have and it makes an excellent companion piece to the Mini-Tumbler and the 1989 Batmobile which is made to the same scale.

The legendary Batmobile Tumbler built in LEGO
I was looking for a LEGO to play with and this caught my eye. I’m a big fan of the Dark Knight trilogy and the Batmobile Tumbler is such an iconic element of the movies. I got myself one from the store since the online order was on backorder.
Pros:
- A very rewarding build experience.
- The set has very good details and a portrait of the actual vehicle. There are some cool moving parts, mostly inside (e.g. gear shift, various display panels, seats, etc.).
- The completed model gives you a very satisfying feeling and just looks gorgeous.
- The size and weight of it definitely deliver that level of intimidation from the actual vehicle.
- It can definitely be a very eye-catching piece of the collection to put at your home.
- It comes in black!
Cons:
- Although not a lot of stickers need to be put on pieces, I was really hoping we get painted pieces for those at this price point. Putting on a sticker is always a pain and it’s easy to mess it up (especially a large one such as that info plaque).
- To access the interior, you will need to remove the 2 top covering parts. It would’ve been better if these can be lifted up with a hinge-like mechanism so they don’t have to be detached.
- The contacting piece of the stand is angled (higher on the front end and lower on the back end) and the back end is not high enough to raise the back part of the vehicle completely off the surface where you put the stand on. Hence, you will have to gently lift up the back of the vehicle in order to complete a full rotation on the stand (can’t spin it freely).
- Dust is more visible because the set is mostly black.
Some of the cons I listed above may just be my personal preference. Overall, I think this is an amazing set to have especially if you are a Batman and/or Batmobile fan!

Challenging, but worth it
Not being a huge Batman fan, I bought this because I like the look, and I have the 1989 Batmobile. The two look great together on the shelf.
Some parts of the build can be quite challenging, namely the four rear wheels, and the instructions can be a little unclear at times. It took me about 4 goes to get one of the wheels on (the axles can be tricky too) then when I got it on I realised the tread pattern was facing the wrong way! D'oh! Managed to take the tyre off without taking the whole wheel off again...
Also, some of the external panels are only held in place by one connector, and can be moved around - I had to refer to other pictures to see if they were sitting right or not.
Another challenge was getting the front wheels on - the gap isn't big enough without taking the front panel off and squeezing them in. Frustrating.
All in all it was a fun, though challenging, build. It looks great and I'm super happy I bought this version.
