Instructions in the app
The additional instructions for all characters is in the 3D section of the Builder app. They are not in the online PDF instructions (in the Builder app, or downloadable from the LEGO site). I’m all for reducing paper waste in the printed instruction booklets, however, it’s be nice if the online PDF instructions had a page for each of the characters as I’m not a big fan of using the 3D instructions. To reiterate, use the 3D instructions for this set in the Builder app, do not bother with the PDF there as it’s the same as the printed instructions booklet in the box set. Otherwise I find this to be a very fun and cute set for Disney lovers, if a bit overpriced.

Really fun set
I was really looking forward to this set and it did not disappoint! I know some other reviewers mentioned their frustration that the instructions for the icons are not out yet and while I agree with that being frustrating, I definitely don't think it warrants a one-star response. I actually had fun looking at the pictures and trying to figure out how to make the icons myself. I will be interested to see how close I was! There's a great mix of characters and I love how you can change them out however you like. It's also the kind of set that they will be able to add more ideas to as time goes on making it even more expansive. Really glad I got this one!

So cute!
So cute, and the frame is well built and sturdy/easy to hang. The patterns are adorable and many to choose from (download the app to find the alternate patterns)
My only complaint is there are suppose to be 72 patterns. I bought 9 frames to house all the patterns, sadly there were a few duplicates (poison apple, Belle, Elsa, dumbo, etc) Had to improvise on my 9th frame to make up for the duplicates.
Although a bit misleading, I still loved the build, and would recommend to any lego Disney fan!

Very frustrating build
I was looking forward to picking out which ones to put in the frame from the extra ones on the app but found it very frustrating that I couldn’t do the ones I wanted as I had used the pieces in another one, I don’t have a large number of spares so had to pick other ones to do which I didn’t really want.
For the money I would have hoped that I could have completed the ones I wanted from the ones available on the app.

Does not include instructions for icons
I ordered this set and you only get directions on how to build 9 out of the 72 character designs. The building instructions state that you can find the other 63 instructions online. However, when searching online they have not posted the instructions or they do not exist. So if you would like to use any of the other characters, you are out of luck. It was a waste of money for a set that you can’t even build once it arrives.

How to decide?
I love that you have different options and you can create so many different characters. I love that you have different options and you can create so many different characters. I love the movie off and I have that Lego set so I took the individual standalone picture and created the up house and have that on display with that set.

Cute, but Missing Instructions for Young Builders
This set says that it is 6+, but I think that is not quite right. The frame build is delicate and complicated. My advanced young Lego builder struggled with some components, but we worked together.
The squares used very neat layering techniques to create the shapes of our favorite characters. The biggest disappointment is that there are only build instructions showing the layers if for 12 of the 72 advertised builds. In the booklet it says instructions are online for the 6 pages of other build, but all that is online is a PDF of the booklet that comes with the set.
If these detailed alternate build instructions are important to you to have, I would research to see if they are out before you buy. I wish I had-- I would have waited on purchasing had I known they were not available. I had very frustrated young builder

Lover of Disney
I really enjoyed building the piece even if a bit simplistic for me. Perfect for beginners and lovers of Disney. I wish that they had an option to have the main frame propped up just like the smaller one. Currently there is a hole to hang it. Also, I wish there were more pieces to pick and choose the vignettes you want and not just within the groups of 12. Overall, still satisfied.
