Very Disappointing
This is no value for the money! I wish I had looked more closely at what actually comes with the set. Most days there is no building to speak of. Six days are nothing more than a small animal with one block for a stand. Really? Only 2 mini figures. One day is only a few pieces of animal accessories like dog bones, a carrot, some food pieces? Why didn’t they at least come with the animal? Compare to the city set which I was happy with for my 5 yr old grandson. Every day this is something to build. My 8 yr old granddaughter will be sadly disappointed. Just look carefully at what you are getting before buying.

Cheers to representation
LOVE that LEGOs has included a limb difference character! Representation matters. My daughter has a limb difference and loves building with LEGOs. Her eyes light up when she sees a character that looks like her. For those who have left ignorant comments about limb differences… more than 2.7 million people in the US have a limb difference and yes, they can still play with legos. I hope all children who play with this set can become more open minded to the fact that there are people of all sizes, shapes, and abilities in this world. What a boring world it would be if we were all the same.

Thank You Lego
My family have been Lego builders for years! They have literally become accent decorations in many parts of our home. Legos has been a way that I can bond our family from parents to teens to children and alleviate TV stimulation. Our youngest family member, we call her Moose because although she is the littlest she is wild and strong and fierce, was born without her right hand! She started building legos before she could talk and still has an amazing imagination that builds incredible things on a regular basis! She was thrilled beyond words to open the Advent package and find a Friend that is built just like! Bravo, Lego, for seeing this world in its entirety and honoring us all!
Much Love for Legos!!!

Worst Advent Calendar So Far
We've done probably a dozen Lego advent calendars (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Friends) over the last few years. This Lego Friends is absolutely the worst we've seen so far. Where are the things to actually build? My kiddo loves animals as much as the next kid, but every day she opens a tab that holds a single person/animal figure (which have been over half of them!) I can see the disappointment on her face, while her brother consistently gets actual build items in his Star Wars calendar. She's still holding out hope, but I've already seen what else is in the box and I can't bring myself to break her heart. I thought the "Friends" line was supposed to encourage girls to BUILD Legos, not be happy with mediocre & stereotypical themes.

Go LEGO!!!
So excited for this Lego set to include a child with a limb difference! Our 4th child was born without her left hand and this set will mean the world to her! Seeing others like her in this world is what encourages her to push through when things get tough. She’s a rockstar and hasn’t tried something she couldn’t master! God has big plans for our girl. Thank you Lego for helping children around the world to feel seen and understood. ❤️

Not inclusive
This set is kind of cute but there’s not much to it. And I’m confused as to why all the Lego friends sets now have a girl with a hand missing. I’m trying to figure out who this represents because how many little girls with a hand missing are Lego builders? I’m not trying to be mean, because I’m disabled myself. But in my experience it takes two hands to build legos so I don’t think this is a proper representation of disability nor logical, given where it’s being represented. It just makes everything feel awkward and like you’re pushing an agenda way too hard. Just let us all enjoy the legos the way they have always been in the past. Innocent and creative building sets without a message.

Super cute
I bought this advent specifically for the bright colors and the adorable pets. I’m an adult builder and I love adding pets to my Christmas and City builds. Pets look extra cute perched on a present under a Christmas tree, in Santa’s sleigh or in a basket on a bicycle. I am eagerly awaiting Advent so I can add these to my builds. I love tiny details!
