Spectacular Set!!
Ok so, I want to make this quick and simple. This HP Chamber of Secrets is really big and it's amazingly detailed. Came packed in a special outer box to protect the actual LEGO set box. Box has beautiful graphics and is an instant collectable on its own! I love sets that have other sets you can buy that attaches to them!! If you think it's pricey, you're right but not too bad. Due to its amazing size, it's definitely worth the money! Longest build experience I've had since the 71043 Hogwarts Castle set! Don't think, just buy this now! Perfect gift for any HP fan and will not disappoint!! We need more Harry Potter sets this size!!!

Fun, flexible build
Nice fun, varied build experience - not repetitive like some builds and split down into steps that pretty much complete one of the modular sections each.
The details in this set are superb, from the great hall with the duelling tables and the hide-away sorting hat to the detail of the chamber of secrets itself.
If you have the other 2021 modular sets then the way they blend together works really well to make a bigger set.
The only niggle is the choice of minifigures - especially Luna Lovegood who, if memory serves correct, isn’t introduced till much later in the series than this set is based, but the rest are great

So Much to Love!
I am thrilled with how this set turned out! When assembled, it is really huge both in width and height. I was apprehensive to get another set with the Great Hall, but in this version, it is more like the Dueling Hall really. I also loved the MinaLima prints on the cereal boxes! There is a great fresh collection of minifigures (Tom Riddle is my favourite), and I love the electric blue pixies. My favourite feature would be how it reminds me of the 2001/2002 sets that combined to make one giant castle. Since I never snatched up all those sets back then, I'm glad that I can recreate it 20 years later!

Good build, 1 problem though
I thought that this was an absolutely excellent product and it had so many great things about it. The details were great and all of the different things that you can do with this set are extraordinary. However, I do have a lot of the other Harry Potter Lego sets and I have noticed that there have been a change in how the castle looks. For example in the Whomping Willow set, the Great Hall, the Clocktower and the Astronomy tower the Hogwarts castle roof has been grey, while now it has changed to green? I still love this set but I feel like it just doesn’t match so well with the others. No problem though.

You Need To Get This Set!
I am an owner of all of the different parts of the Hogwarts Castle, and this set really tops it all off! The minifigures are all unique, even the basic students like Harry and Ginny. The Golden Voldemort was also a great addition for collecting special minifigures. Also, the fact that this set can also combine with the Polyjuice Potion Mistake set and the Fluffy Encounter sets. Lastly, the set was full of many different colored frogs, which I thought was an interesting touch. It was a fun build that only took a few hours, and it was perfect for both display and play!

Hogwarts 20th Anniversary sets
Review for 76387 + 76387 + 76389: I love the "modular" Hogwarts Castle components, this is a really great concept!
When combining sets there are unfortunately only 6 "basement" units versus 11 upper storey units and matching them as designed, no configuration works without using an upper storey at ground level.
I love the chocolate frog collectible wizard card concept but there is a typographical error in the instructions where Garrick Ollivander is used for the Rowena Ravenclaw tile. Of my 19 tiles, I have 11 unique tiles. Four of them are triplicates which makes me wonder just how random the distribution really is.
Still wondering what the potions book labelled "YY" (from 76389) is supposed to represent.

Cool!
I really like this set because it comes with the six little trading cards which I have started to collect. But probably my favorite part of this LEGO is the mini figs, I really like Dumbledores pink gown/robes, the Luna that this comes with, the Basilisk snake is very playable, and the pixies have a kind of metallic look to them which is cool. My only problem is that this set does not matchup, meaning if you don’t have The poly juice potion set there is no entrance to the chamber.
But over all this set is very good.

A refreshing new chapter to the theme
I haven’t bought a Harry Potter set for a while, so this was more or less an introduction for me back into collecting the theme. With that being said, I absolutely love the fact that you can connect all currently available Hogwarts sets into your own conglomerate of Hogwarts Castle. Say what you must against the “collect-them-all marketing” but I honestly feel that if this wasn’t advertised or encouraged in this way I wouldn’t love this theme nearly as much as I do as a avid collector and builder. These newer waves of Harry Potter Hogwarts expansions are a true love-letter to those who collected the early 2000s Harry Potter sets as well as any Harry Potter Fan. This is by far my favorite Harry Potter set in my collection and I’ll be looking forward to buying the further expansions for my own Hogwarts Castle.
