Great, unique set, just one flaw
This is a beautiful set and I had such a fun time putting everything together. Being able to switch up the placement of the plants to match your liking at any time is also a nice feature. The printed koi tiles in the river are also a really nice touch. The only flaw I can find with this one is the fact that the ball and socket joint pieces remain color locked. They stick out like it's nobody's business and just wreck the color continuity for the bamboo. It's a real shame that so many sets are plagued by that problem today and I hope one day I can swap out the light/dark grey pieces with green ones instead.

Gorgeous Set
I got into building Lego as an adult because of the beautiful botanical collection, and have since branched out. Art and botanical sets remain my very favorite builds, and this beautiful set was no exception. I loved all of the thoughtful little touches, and it was such a pleasure to watch the build come together. I love that the trees, statue, and bushes can be mixed and interchanged! The pagoda with the sweet little green tea setup inside was such a lovely little addition to this lovely set. I truly felt tranquil as I built, and I love looking at the finished product. The bridge, koi ponds, and pretty pathways throughout make this set a pure delight. I’m so happy with this purchase!

The Ki Is Strong With This One
This is one of the best Lego sets in recent memory. The overall presentation is very elegant and it's well designed in the way it leads your eye down a path to discover its small details. I particularly like the slightly asymmetric placement of the pavilion at not-quite-45-degrees, which adds to the organic feel. My wife is from China and though, of course, this is a Japanese garden, she felt a familiarity with it and commented on its attention to detail.

Charming & Placid
It's a really beautiful set, and the price is justifiable for 2023. Small gripes about it is that under the pavillion, the rocks don't cover the entirety of a S.N.O.T. piece, so a little bit of light tan shows through, and the bamboo has dark gray ball joints. Other than that, I personally love the specialized pieces and the new bent piece for this set. I'm collecting all the Botanical Sets and just like the other ones, this did not dissappoint! If a LEGO employee sees my review, hey!

Pure Zen
The Tranquil Garden is an outstanding addition to the Icons group. The idea that you can reset the garden as you please makes this a great display item. As an avid modifier of all my Lego sets, I added another small shrine, some native flowers and small plants to the build as well as a small waterfall along the back. Thanks Lego for making a fun and entertaining build.

Lovely, easily customizable japanese-style garden
This delightful garden was a joy to build, and looks beautiful. I love that the vegetation was built in a way that you can easily move stuff around... and they include lots of studs in the water and terrain, so you can add more details or shift things around. Please continue to release more sets like this! thanks

Serene Japanese garden in a Lego set
This beautiful set has easily become one of my most favorites of all time. All the intricate details of a traditonal Japanese garden are wonderfully captured here. Every little detail adds to the overal set here and nothing is out of place or superfluous. I also love the modular design of the trees and pagoda, which allows you to arrange the garden differently. The various colors are also well-balanced and liven up the set to just the right amount. This tranquil garden really accurately captures the look and essence of a Japanese garden!

One of the Best Sets We Put Together
Tranquil Garden is a set inspired by Japanese zen gardens and the LEGO set does a great job capturing the feeling of such garden. The tea house, koi pond, the bridge, all of them come together quite nicely. I put this set together with my wife and mother in law. While it's not a particularly difficult build, but we had the most fun compared to any other sets we put together.
