Another LEGO set fit for a museum display!
This is a gorgeous addition to the LEGO new year celebration line. I would highly recommend this set to individuals, who value the fine arts element of LEGO sets, for it is beautifully unique. I would also like to add that as a Chinese person, I fail to comprehend the excessive backlash that this set has received for its name selection. Objectively speaking, there is nothing offensive about the name. The LEGO group is not a political entity. It is a toy company that manufactures toys in celebration of play, imagination, and art. I am pleased that, thus far, the LEGO Group is not caving to unjustified pressure.

great set both for display and to play
Great set with a lot of details and minifigures. I really enjoy the playability of the set, there are a lot of the movable parts, especially the rabbit float: not only the rabbit moves up-and-down in sign of greeting, but also the ears and arms can be adjusted. A detail that I really appreciated is the back of two minifigures with orange and pear, which can be pronounced as "good luck" in chinese.
For those complaining about the name od the set, there is a golden medallion with Chu and "spring festival - Chinese New Year special edition" on both sides of the box (a really colourful box, by the way).
It would be just perfect if the minifigures were skin-toned.

Beautiful display
1. I’d like to state that reviews for this set are based on value, play and build experience. The review is on the set itself and not what it is called. If you want to review a set do it properly. If you are upset with the name then call, email or write to lego personally as it is not a review in it’s entirety.
2. The value and experience of this build was great. Apart from some stickers I really enjoyed it. It’s a stunning and beautiful piece that I will display in my home.
I would highly recommend this set.

Great Sets
Another great pair of Lunar New Year sets. My one complaint is that some of the stickers are printed far to light and are barely visible when applied.
In regards to the many complaints regarding the naming of these sets, they offer no insight into the product itself. Obviously if the naming bothers you that much you have already decided not to purchase these (which is fine).
If you are reading these reviews to help decide if the build experience and end result is good... they are great and I highly recommend the set.

Wonderful addition to my LEGO city
I loved this build. I was excited for it from the pictures online before the release but when I saw it in person at the store and then built it I love it so much more. So many minifigs to add to the atmosphere of a Lego city. I really like the movement function in each float. Plus the build experience is set for up to 3 people to build together. I highly recommend this set.

The best of the Lunar New Year Themed sets
I have every Chinese/Lunar New Year set Lego has made and this is the very best of them all. The floats are very unique and the Year of the Rabbit theme is so festively conveyed. It was fun for the kids to build and there were enough minifigs to go around for each of them to play with. It's so colorful and looks like a work of art (rabbit could have been a bit better) when displayed. We loved building the set and it will be displayed every Chinese New Year in our house along with some of the other New Year themed sets. Thank you Lego for introducing and continuing these sets each holiday. They are stunning and it's fun to teach and show our children (of all ages) what the cultural significance of these sets are.

Beautiful set except for the stickers
I had fun putting it together along with my nephew who grew up putting together sets. It’s nice that we were each able to work on a float independently.
On the negative side, some of the stickers where so faintly printed that they do not show, especially on red pieces.
I was born on a Year of the Water Rabbit, so this set was especially meaningful and ordered it as soon as it available.
