Very well-designed mecha set
I bought this and Sora's Transforming Bike, with an initial greater enthusiasm for the bike set. However, this set really impressed for the both the build and the unusually high range of articulation in the larger of the two mecha included in the set. The smaller mecha is simple but still fun to play with, but the large green mecha was an absolute treat to build and pose. Moreover, the smaller yellowish-orange mecha can attach to the green mecha's chest, which gave me the impression of a baby carrier (LLoyd, the Green Ninja, is Arin's mentor, so its a funny yet apt analogy). As a passionate mecha fan, the mecha in this set are very much my focus, and I'll opine that LLoyd's mecha is one of the best designs the Ninjago Design Team have given us. The minifig selection is good; you get LLoyd, Arin, Rapton, an Imperium Guard, and an Imperium Claw all of which have front & back torso prints, leg prints, either dual faces or printed details front and back of their heads, as well as a few new weapon/body wear elements. From a conflict POV, the set is very one-sided, as only the protagonists have mecha. However, it's just nice to have those figs, especially if you're an army-builder (I'm not). The mecha, however, are the stars of the show and I can only cheer on the Design Team in the hopes that they'll continue churning out mecha models of this caliber with such great articulation, design, and play features in future sets.

Great experience!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old son got this package and was super excited to see the Lego Ninjago figures.
We put this together in a few hours and had a lot of fun. The package had a suitable challenge and characters for every departure.
We recommend this to any Lego Ninjago fan!

For advanced builder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great for someone who has more skills to build than beginner. Playing must be careful not to play too hard there is many parts on this one. But still my opinton is that overall great product for advanced builder. Two different robots that can be connected together is great idea.

Amazing for Ninjago-fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built this Ninjago Lloyd and Arins Ninja Team with my 8 year old son. Good points I will give to that we built this together and it wasnt too easy.
More points to this Lego - because its easy to play together with a friend, because its easy to set separately.

Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9 and 7 years old sons build this together. Younger needed sometimes little help, but both of them loved it. Instruction were good and easy to follow.

Playful experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I, we enjoyed building this together, and later on playing. Building process was few times a bit confusing because of not always very clear instructions, but overall, experience was nice!

The best a mech can be (still terrible)
Honestly I like of a team up mech. However there are way too many structural failures with this one. The leg mobility is limited at best. It does not balance well on its feet unless its perfectly upright or propped against something. IDK why anybody would buy this. The small mech attaching to the large mech thing is funny though.
