Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply fantastic! I have been a fan of the Lego Speed Champion builds after buying my first from the newest 8-stud wide and now I am only missing two sets. I was not the biggest fan of this newer version of the Ferrari, maybe because I'm into more recent car designs, but I must say that this car in particular totally surpassed my best expectations. The build techniques used are absolutely brilliant and the final result is one of the smoothest I have seen so far, just incredible. It's amazing how the blocks are arranged in this set to produce the final lines and volumes of the car. Even thought it's not my favorite car from the series, it deffinitely has to by my favorite build from Speed Champions so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really cool set I love the speed champion line of cars and i was excited to buy this set. I live it for the cool curves and it is a throwback to an older more iconic car in automobile history. I was disappointed to find that piece 613421 was broken in the hinge portion. It still fit, just not as snug as intended. I was not a fan of how loose the front fenders are as they are attached by a pin. I like it though as it was fun to build and displays nicely with my other sets

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to Le Mans 1970 I think like many other LEGO fans I exploded when I saw this set. It looks absolutely fantastic when finished. Incredible small details, like the 1 x 1 Ferrari logo pieces. My only criticism are the stickers, which are fiddly for an adult, and probably so for kids. I'd happily pay an extra 5-10 euro if the sticker parts were molded. However, overall this is a bargain for the price. A lovely set, perfect for motorsport fans! Dear LEGO - please, please, please the 1970 Gulf Porsche 917 with Steve McQueen minifiure next!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME LITTLE CAR!!!!! This set is unbelievable the building techniques are brilliant. I had a smile from ear to ear. I suffer with severe depression and anxiety lego is always the best cure and this little Ferrari was a pleasure. The new speed champion set's with the larger wheel base have truly blown me away. Well done Lego.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great build, but... This was really fun to build and incorporates some great build techniques, but when we bought this half of the stickers were cut off. We have ordered new ones, but this is the first time we have experienced a fault in a Lego set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1970 Ferrari 512 M Review Love Ferrari's all my life. Seeing Lego adding this set made me very hype since I have the Ferrari F8 Tributo. I hope Lego adds something similar to the 2018 Scuderia Ferrari SF16-H. Love to see more F1 Speed Champion Lego Sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great build [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 6 year old son who loves legos. We have done some advanced sets together but this one was a little difficult for him to do. The age recommendation is 8 which is probably pretty accurate. I really enjoyed this build with him though. It is one of the coolest I've ever done. He has been playing with it every day since we finished it. It really looks like the 1970 Ferrari in every detail.
