A great little F1 car set
I love this set! It's the perfect size F1 car for a desk and it looks great on mine. Lego has really improved their car designs lately and even though this is a small set, it was fun to build and looks very much like the real car. My only wish for this set is that the mini-fig that came with it would look more like Lewis Hamilton; I modified mine with a minifig from another set.

AMG F1 W12 E Performance & AMG Project One Review
Very happy with this wonderful set. I hope they'll add more F1 cars as a bundle or in singles in the future on Speed Champion. I very much enjoyed this build. Very delighted they chose a better hair style for the female mini figure.

A+ Rating on First Speed Champions Set
This is my first set in the Speed Champions theme. I chose this set because of the F1 car. Overall I am quite happy with my purchase because this was a fun build. I might just buy a second set.
On a technical level I would have to say it's on an intermediate level because of all the decals that need to be applied on the vehicle. (Be prepared with a steady hand.) It was a lot of dark pieces, so it was a little difficult to find the parts I needed in a poorly lit room.
It just feels right. The wheels are smooth turning, it fits nicely in the palm of your hand and it has a nice weight to it. I can imagine it just zooming around the track.

Fantastic Set
Very excited with this set. I'm a huge F1 so another modern car is amazing. Great build and I really hope Lego makes some more F1 cars, preferably a Ferrari ;)

Pretty good
The building experience was quite good, the instructions were easy to follow and the builds turned out great, the cars are nicely detailed and amazing, the only cons are 3: The F1 Mercedes' tyre axles are not that good, if you race with them, a high-speed corner usually make the tyres (usually the rear ones) to violently come off, then the F1 Mercedes' steering wheel is not the best, I would have put a normal wheel, it looks less realistic but it's much better, finally the rear wing of the Project One is a bit weak, overall this set is fantastic, amazing for F1 fans and supercars fans

I've made up my mind...,I think.
I finished the series of 7 today with the Mercedes pair. I lean toward these 2 being the best of the series. During each of the series builds I'm constantly in awe of the Lego teams ability to pull off the styles, scale and accuracy of all these vehicles. The Mercedes were particularly enjoyable to build and the result is outstanding. In all, no two cars were of a similar build, all had their own build personality. And, the colors were great!
Thanks for the fun time Lego!

The need for speed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a fan of F1, racecars and LEGO, this is a fun set to build and display or play with. As typical, the packaging is great and very easy to work through with the instruction books. This set does have a lot of small or specific pieces in it, so the age rating feels about appropriate, though my 6 yr old helped to build the cars. The attention to details of the real vehicles is apparent and though that can make some parts, like the spoiler, easier to break apart, the appearance quality is well done. The cars roll very well, but the wheels are fixed, so there is no possibility to turn them if it's desired. To me, they look good displayed in the rec room.

Printed Headlights!!,
Now this is a top 5 speed champions set! This is a 9+ set where as most Speed Champions sets are 7+ so be ready for a more challenging build especially with the F1. Great solid build with some interesting techniques and some brand new elements. Only negative is the stickers that go across 3 elements. Oh, and printed headlights!
