Almost perfect, still awesome
I grew up watching episode two in theaters so that movie has a pretty close place to my heart. I'm very happy to see Lego is out here releasing episode two based sets. I honestly have no complaints about this one in particular apart from something small. The mini figures are awesome and Lego made an amazing Kaminoan design. The ship has a lot of stickers, but they suit the build well. It's sturdy and very swooshable. My complaint is a gap that gets left between the body & the wings. It's an easy fix by replacing the long white one by 12 with shorter 1x6 plates & 1x6 rail plates in its place per side.

Way better looking in-hand!
This was so much better than anticipated! The ship is sleek and nimble looking. Styling and color really make this stand out. Very nice! The gap issue can easily be minimized by adding an additional 2x6 element at the cockpit where the side plate goes. Two 1x6’s will also do the trick as the bottom piece will be hidden. This totally adds width and helps your eye not notice a big gap. Much like Anakin’s starfighter of this design.
The mini-figures are excellent and really make this one of the better valued sets you can buy in these over-priced times. Taun We, is excellent. Obi-Wan looks awesome with the hood and so great to see R4(all droids need back prints). New minI-figures make this so much better.

Nice Figs, Mediocre Build
Listen, this set has some great things about it. Overall, the design is nice, sleek and swooshable, and depicts the source material rather elegantly. I enjoyed the minifigures, too, especially Taun We --- for the unique headpiece --- though I could have done with an R4-P17 backprint (though it won't be an issue for most people, as the astromech's body won't be visible most of the time). The biggest gripes I have are the lack of space for holding Obi Wan's hood piece and the substantial gaps between the wings and the fuselage. Additionally, the build was rather repetitive, with bags 2 and 3 basically mirroring each other (though the small nature of this set lessens the issue). Overall, while this set has decent minifigures, it loses its charm rather quickly.

Beautifull Obi-Wan Delta 7 Starfighter
This is a great starship without doubt. Most of the builders complain about the gaps between the wings and the fuselage but they are not a huge deal honestly. The starfighter looks sleek, great and was bigger than I expected form that number of pieces. My only complaint would be the substantial number of stickers. I can understand it for the bigger ones. Even though, it is a bit unnecessary (and annoying) to put stickers on a one-by-three plate which is about 75% the same color as the piece. Just print it on the piece already! Despite that this is an impressive set and a must have.
Quick advice: If you are so worried about the “loose” pieces (hair/hood piece and antenna) There is a simple solution; Attach the antenna below the wing using the stud that it has. If you choose the right spot is unnoticeable and will not fell off. About the head piece, you can either made a small modification for storing the hood inside the cockpit or put Obi-Wan with the hood and the hair piece behind the seat. In this way you can store all the accessories within the build.

Definitely a set you need
This isn’t the greatest set of all time, but it’s good and I think any lego Star Wars collecter should get this set. The build is pretty good, but the sides do have some gaps and it’s not the prettiest look, but the figures are excellent, especially that kaminoin. Overall I’d really recommend this set, especially for a kid cause it had amazing playability.

Good build but...
While the build itself was engaging I was very disappointed with the stickers as they were dereadfully off center and cause distracting line throughout the build

Simple Build with too Many Stickers
A great little set with a great collection of minifigures, my only gripe being Obi-Wan would look better with a fabric cape when wearing the hood.
The set itself was bigger than I was expecting which was nice, but the gap on the wing connection and the aesthetically unpleasing landing gear detract from its beauty.
Unfortunately the set is almost ruined by heavy use of (tiny) stickers. I understand printed pieces are expensive, but they much for a much better building experience.
Minifigures aside, I would argue that the 2002 version of this set has a better build experience and design.

Sticker Overload
Ok, so I personally love the set itself, especially the figures (Taun We & Ep II Obi-Wan), but the build could use some work in my opinion. Firstly, the already known issues with the lack of somewhere to place the hoodpiece and the gap between the wings, which are both understandable, and somewhat inevitable. However, there is an egregious amount of stickers for a set with only 282 pieces (14 stickers?!). Personally the only change I would make is to add a couple of prints, especially on the wings and front of the ship, would go a long way in making this set a must-get for this wave.
