Harder Build but Great Characters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this last week and my son was super excited for it as it was his favorite Pokemon character, Bulbasaur. Although it looked like a small build, it actually took him about 2 hours to build the entire Pokemon because he said the parts were smaller and it was all about the details. He has been carrying this character around opening and closing its mouth and playing for a couple days now and is super proud of it. I have to say, Mega Construx did a great job creating this characters so accurately to the drawings and we will be getting the entire collection.

Better than the other brand!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially, I was shocked at how small the pieces were and I thought for sure I was in for a headache when we tried to build it with my 8 year old daughter. I was wrong! She was able to follow the instruction booklet and handle the pieces just fine! One of the things I don't like about most Lego brand sets is how easily they can come apart after it's built. This Mega Construx set is much sturdier and I'm not worried about it falling apart while my daughter plays with it. The moving parts, like Pikachu's ears and the lightening bolts, are a fun touch!

So fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super fun for my son and I. We worked on this together, it took us about a hour I would say to complete. The instructions that come with it are step by step to make it easier to build, it's easy to follow. This resembles the character and watching it be built into a well known character really lights my childs eyes up! The reward at the end of the fully but character he loves is so neat and worth the time building. The pieces fit perfectly together which makes this a smooth process! I love it, and the time my son and I spent on it!

So Cool!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Mega Construx Bulbasaur that I got for my 5yr old daughter! We had to assemble him but he came with clear instructions that my daughter was able to figure out on her own and it didn't take her long either. Bulbasaur has several moving parts including his mouth that opens (with a pink tongue inside). And with all the playing my daughter has done with it so far it hasn't broken yet, so it was very well made, the pieces stick together firmly. Would definitely love to get some of the other Pokemon characters in this set!

Perfect for Pokemon Fans!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old loves Pokemon. He was so excited to put together the Bulbasaur Mega Construx. I did help him a bit as this particular one had several pieces that were very similar and we very carefully sorted them out to make sure we could match the pieces. It took us about 45 minutes to put the Bulbasaur together. I thought this would be a collectable piece he would put on the shelf but instead he has been taking off and putting on the bulb on the back of the Pokemon saying that it's in its Evolution. I'm not as familiar with the Pokemon storyline as he is but he's been playing with it as an action figure and the fact the mouth opens and closes in addition to the bulb opening and the vines moving he's been having a blast with it.

Super cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Mega construx Pokemon Bulbasaur free in exchange for my honest review. This is an awesome building blox kit. I built it with my 7 year old who is advanced with building blocks kits, however on their own, I'd say maybe a 10+ year old. The instructional pictures were good and the build went well resulting in an adorabal bulbasaur. Great product!

Cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9 year old is a Pokémon fanatic. He was super excited to get this in the mail. He normally puts lego sets together with no help but he said this one he was having a hard time putting the eyes and a few other pieces on. Once I helped we had it all put together in no time. It was fun to put together but once together it just sits on his desk for decoration.

Building Pokémon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s like most mega construction where you build the characters from the construction pieces. The pieces are very small and come in color coordinated bags. My daughter isn’t really into Pokémon so she lost interest very quickly. But if you have a child that’s into them and they want to build the Pokémon characters, they may like this.
