Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent (but challenging!) set [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really well made set and was lots of fun. I built it with my seven year old, and while I know it's recommended for ages 8 and over, it would likely be tough even for 8 year olds who may not be very skilled with building sets. While the instructions are better than other kits (my opinion), there are lots of small pieces that need very precise placement for the movement to work appropriately. That being said, it was a REALLY fun kit to build and I would highly recommend it for skilled builders who are Pokemon fans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fun build! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pokémon toy was a hit at our house. We love building things, and this was a nice mix of difficult, but fun. All the 387 pieces come in labeled bags (1-7) which is so helpful for finding pieces when you are building. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. My son got stuck a few times, but we were able to work together to find the right solution. It is awesome that this toy has a crank built into it that when turned makes the wings flap. It is also a lot bigger than I anticipated! It was a winner at our house and if your kids like to build and play, it will be at yours too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dragonite is my sons fav [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a huge Pokémon fan, he has books and also as a family we do Pokémon walks. He is building up a collection of Pokémon in his room and he got a new unit to display his Pokémon figures - so when he got the Dragonite set he was delighted. The instruction book is great to follow but there is also an online step by step guide too. Please bear in mind this does take time - but its so nice to see my husband and son building a bit every night after dinner - I love hearing them having conversation on it and they show me their progress. Great product for the Pokémon fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mega Dragonite 387 piece building set [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Dragonite kids building set comes with 387 pieces. The set includes an instruction book and several pieces in bags to be completed in stages. There are several small pieces so a child may need help from an adult as instructions are easy to follow but are very detailed. The set itself has a great deal of detail that is fun and displays very well upon completion. The wings will flap with a built in brick allowing the wings to move using a circular movement with attached bricks. My 11 year old was able to complete the set in a few hours with little help other than identifying a few small pieces correctly. Overall i rate this set a 5 out of 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great to Build, Play and Display [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pokemon fans will love this Dragonite building set. The step-by-step instructions were quite easy for my son to follow. This was the first time he had built a MEGA set and he found the different brick designs added to the level of difficulty. One thing he did find challenging was that if the pieces weren't clicked together tightly enough then the other pieces wouldn't connect properly. The Motion Brick adds interest as it turns to make the wings flap and the set can also be combined with other MEGA Pokemon sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun to make and play with [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son LOVES this set, he's super into pokeman at the moment and couldn't wait to make it. The instructions were easy to follow and he was able to build it all by him self ( he's 8). There are other sets that you can build and play with altogether as we have a couple already. I think the added bonus of it having movable wings really gives it more play ability and is super fun. The set if compactable with other leading brands, which is great as you can then expand and make you own little world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perforce for a kid that loves building Pokémon! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old son LOVES this toy! He’s had a fascination with anything Pokémon for a few years now and he also likes to play with building blocks so this toy is a perfect combination of his two favorite things! We had a lot of fun putting it together. We couldn’t quite figure out how to get the wings to move (not sure if it was a defect or how we built it) but it didn’t matter to him because he was fine with just building it and putting it on display. Looks just like the picture in the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for pokemon fans [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boy is a huge pokemon fan, and also loves building things so this went down a treat. It was a great father son bonding activity for us, it was tricky but the step by step intrusions helped. I don't think he would have been able to have done it without adult help (he is 5 almost 6) but it was an activity we wanted to do together anyway. Dragonite moves slightly so it's not a fixed model. He is really chuffed with it and we had fun building it together.
