Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun build, perfect size [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I built this with my 6-year old son and we had a great time. The instructions were very clear and the parts always come in different bags so it's easy to keep track of the pieces that go with each step. My son really likes Pokemon and he has a lot of fun with the motion aspect of this toy. MEGA builds are always fun because they have a lot of different colors for the blocks and they have a variety of shape options for the blocks that work together to make the characters look more clear too. We love the details on the character faces, they make them look more realistic and recognizable especially for kids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great set to do independently [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year-old-son was very excited to put this together, especially after he found out that there were moving parts to make the Pokemon characters spin. He was able to put the whole thing together in an hour with minimal help from me (just a couple pieces that needed to snap into place.) I feel like these sets have improved in how the pieces fit together, which I appreciate. He said it was fun to construct (especially the moving parts) but he also felt like he needed all the Pokemon sets to actually play with it. He also thought it would be cooler if it was a Pokemon battle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Found this a little fiddly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great set but found the centre part a bit fiddly even for myself. We have the countryside windmill set so love the way this connects to it after its been made. It has movable parts and contains two pokermon characters too. The instructions were easy to follow but my top tip is when adding the motion part think about where holes are as we did this wrong and had to carefully twist it after. The hole makes the model rotate. My nearly 6 year old loved playing with the completed model and making it rotate. A great gift for children who like pokermon and constructing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great set with minor issues [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mega set is pretty cool. There is “gear” brick so that you can turn a knob which turns the block that Piplup is on. Piplup then would then hit Sendak and a icicle during its turn so moving those as well. There were a few small pieces that were hard for my 8yo to snap together by herself. There are also a few connections that comes off too easily so there are a few problems with the design. The direction booklet was very detailed and color coded. The bricks were separated into packages so they would be easy to find. Overall my daughter loved building this set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, interactive build! Go Piplup!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have been collecting some of these sets as pokeballs fight scenes, and the different eveelutions. The bricks can be harder to pull a part and some are not as finished looking as a competitor, but the price point is much more reasonable. Some parts are foam and very specific though. This set took us about 2 hours, but we did have a few fixes and aren't the fastest. Instructions use colored marks to show placement. An improvement on another company's style. When finished the icicles rock, and you xan spin the characters to "strike" or attack each other. It will be fun to build to add other figures to battle and collect the other two sets in this motion series for battles!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pokemon [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started building during winter break. We recently finished it because it took time with my 6 year old. He enjoyed the building process but got sidetracked because there was a lot of pieces.. after building it, he’s been playing with it in 10-15 min increments. The pieces are a bit small, so it is hard for him to put together sometimes. The separate bags made it helpful to find pieces. Overall have to be patient with the building process, but was fun afterwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Toy to Help Build Skills [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy helps child with many skills but also allows them to play. My daughter has trouble staying concentrated on one toy at a time but when she was building this she had no issues. All of the pieces kept her entertained for hours even if she wasn't building the set exactly how she was supposed to. She also loves Pokemon so it was a great toy for her. I highly recommend buying this for your little one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute little set [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is super cute & the spinning action is quite fun. What takes away from a perfect score is the building portion. The instructions are sometimes very hard to understand with the way things are illustrated. Some of the blocks take a lot of force to press together as well. If your kids are the build it once and leave it together forever type then this should be fine.
